Mobster Sammy ‘The Bull’ Gravano Explains How They Would ‘Reach’ Trump

We cannot pretend to know a lot about the context of this video, it’s not only an old video (from 1993), but it has been on YouTube since 2019. It just feels a bit more urgent when some are talking about the possibility that Trump was moving state secrets. (NOT PROVEN).

The video below involves Sammy “The Bull” Gravano, who was one of New York’s highest ranking mob bosses (an “under boss”), testifying as to how they would “reach” Donald Trump. He explains that they would have to do it “indirectly” because it sounds like a direct meeting is just too visible, gives too much away, and so they would have an underling, or someone more presentable, meet with Trump.

Just to give an introduction into Gravano’s past, here is just the first paragraph from Wiki:

Salvatore “Sammy the Bull” Gravano (born March 12, 1945) is an American former mobster who became underboss of the Gambino crime family. Gravano played a major role in prosecuting John Gotti, the crime family’s boss, by agreeing to testify as a government witness against him and other mobsters in a deal in which he confessed to involvement in 19 murders.

This is not the type of guy a future president would want to meet.

A word of caution is warranted. Donald Trump was in real estate and construction in Manhattan in the 1980s and 1990s. We were not. But one can envision a world in which, almost by necessity, someone doing construction would have to deal with the mob bosses who controlled the unions that worked in concrete, steel, trucking, and all the things one normally associates with organized crime at the time.

Still, Gravano is talking about how they would reach Donald Trump specifically, and that’s a bit “weird.” It is also interesting that the Italian mob has retreated since Gotti was nailed and the Russian mob surged. There have always been rumors about Trump and the Russian mob. Nothing proven. It is also a bit interesting in that Trump started off his presidency asking for his “Roy Cohn,” the infamous mob lawyer, and repeatedly referred to witnesses as “rats,” just as a mob boss would.

And then there’s the thing with the files. Just thought we’d throw that in there. Make of this what you will. It could be that everyone in construction had to work with the mob back then. It could be something else, we leave it to the consideration of the reader.

“We have ways to reach him.”

And, as we noted…

Wow, I guess people didn’t really grasp the extent of Donald Trump’s underworld connections. My book explains how Trump graduated from the Mafia to Russian organized crime to grow his business. Please check it out:https://t.co/989eU1PVfj — Seth Hettena (@seth_hettena) December 11, 2019

Tough to tell much through those videos, and obviously, no one has ever brought charges. Nothing has ever been proven regarding Trump. A lot has never been proven. Maybe the run will end sometime.
